WhatsApp announced an interesting update yesterday, bringing voice waveforms to voice messages!
Today, WhatsApp is eliminating this interface and replacing it with the previous one. Why?
Many users reported that, while the interface was attractive, the seek bar could not be used to scroll through the audio message, and the colour for the voice waveform was difficult to see in dark mode.
It should be noted that this is a beta feature, therefore such things are quite likely to occur during beta testing. WhatsApp has temporarily blocked the new voice messaging interface, however WABetaInfo can confirm that it will reappear once WhatsApp has addressed some issues.
