WWE RAW September 27th, 2021: Main Event Steel Cage Brutality, The Hurt Business Reunited?!

Monday Night RAW aired from the Heritage Bank Centre in Cincinnati, Ohio featuring 2 championship rematches, and a Championship open challenge in the night. The kick-off match of the night was a monstrous one which was the WWE Championship match, as Lashley hasn’t moved on a bit, confronting Big E in a backstage segment for a rematch, to which E agrees. Lashley has set his focus on the Championship he shouldn’t have lost in the first place. 

Big E vs. Bobby Lashley
WWE Championship Match
The two Bulls lock horns in the first match of the night, making it an absolute dope start of the night taking the fight both in and out the ring. Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander have arrived on the scene and it looks like The Hurt Business is Back in Business! The New Day crashes in and a brawl takes place inside the ring, leading to a disqualification. WWE Official Adam Pearce doesn’t want things to end like this and makes it official for tonight’s Main Event will be the Championship Match Inside a STEEL CAGE.

 Angel Garza vs. Erik
Garza capitalized in the match in the beginning but Erik hit a massive suplex taking him down. Carillo provided a distraction towards the apron, thanks to Garza’s Pants. Garza then hit a Superkick and a Wing Clipper and picked up a victory, providing a relatively short match. Garza and Carillo are really promising and athletic, picking up some great momentum in the tag team division.

Reggie vs. Ricochet
24×7 Championship Match
It’s sad to see the former US Champ chasing for the 24×7 title. We also witness the other title contestants sitting at the ringside, observing the match. Reggie avoided Ricochet’s most of the early offense until he performed a dive outside the ring. The ringside contestants see the moment and decide to crash in, leading to a DQ. Reggie managed to escape them all.

Keith ‘Bearcat’ Lee vs. Akira Tozawa
After being attacked by Reggie, Tozawa stays in the ring grasping his abdomen and demand for a match against anyone in the locker room. Keith Lee answers the call. Lee absolutely squashed Tozawa, tossing him through the top rope and then planting him into a Big Bang Catastrophe for the win. Bearcat Lee looked really cool in the beard and popped like a massive heel in the match.

Damian Priest vs. Sheamus
United States Championship No Holds Barred Match
This match being a no DQ was brutal to witness taking it back and forth. Although Priest had the upper hand in the beginning, Sheamus capitalized well over Priest and take things Extreme with dangerous spots like Priest hitting Superman Punch through the steps, Sheamus planting a White Noise through the table, attacking the champion with Kendo Sticks, and a Stage Dive to the Barricades, and crazy near fall with back to back counters and reversals. Priest countered Sheamus’ attack and sent through the table, planted a Reckoning, and picked up the victory to retain his title for the second time in a week.

Jinder Mahal, Veer, and Shanky vs. Jeff Hardy, Ali & Mansoor
6-Man Tag Team Match
This was an Interesting tag mix with Hardy getting a good amount of TV time and Mansoor and Ali gaining themselves some momentum for the team. Mahal’s team had the power advantage as he had some massive powerhouse athletes. Ali started flying but Shanky just slammed him. Veer and Mahal and Shanky had the upper advantage and absolutely knocked out the opponent by a massive lariat for the win.

Karrion Kross vs. Jaxson Ryker
Ryker taunts Kross and makes him nothing but mad and ruthless. He blocked the first attempt of Kross’ Kross jacket submission hold and tried hitting his own moves. It didn’t work as Kross countered and hit a Doomsday Saito Suplex, and locked Ryker into the Kross Jacket again for the victory.

AJ Styles vs. Riddle
As Riddle has no backup tonight as Orton has taken some time off. They really managed to put on a good match and Styles won clean, without any interruptions. As Riddle set himself for an RKO, Styles blocked the offense and hit a Styles Clash for the victory.
After The Match: Omos destroyed an already vulnerable Riddle with a Chokeslam before leaving the ring.

Charlotte Flair vs. Doudrop
WWE RAW Women’s Championship Open Challenge Match
Doudrop is a strong competitor and not to be messed around with. Charlotte Flair got the hint of that and tried slamming her but it is very difficult to do so. Doudrop was dominating the champion with a wild Senton until Eva Marie arrived on the scene. This distracted the Challenger and opened a path for the champion, who attacked Doudrop from behind and hit a Natural Selection for the win.
After The Match: Flair hit Eva Marie with a Clothesline and takes her down

Goldberg makes an appearance and makes sure that he will get his revenge against Lashley for what he did to his son. He also said that he hopes to get lucky enough to kill the former WWE Champion.

Eva Marie is still in the ring after the attack, confronting the WWE Universe for disrespecting her while Shayna Baszler came down and attacked her again. She dragged Eva Marie outside and hit a stomp on the steel steps and did the same thing she did to Nia Jax a week ago. Eva was screaming and looks like Baszler is enjoying all of this.

Big E vs. Bobby Lashley
WWE Championship Steel Cage Match
It’s MAIN EVENT TIME with Steel Cage Brutality! Champion Big E takes on Challenger Bobby Lashley. Lashley attacked E before entering the cage and a fight broke out before the bell. Lashley dominated Big E and tossed him into the steel steps and barricades. After the break, the match was finally underway as The Champion was being dominated. Big E gained some momentum back and hit a Spear but The All-Mighty blocked the Big Ending. Lashley tried to escape but E downed him and tried to escape. But then, The Hurt Business arrived and attacked E on the top of the cage avoiding him to exit. Woods and Kingston came down to equalize the odds and Woods slammed the Cage Door in Lashley’s Face, and both took the Hurt Business Down. Both of the teams were later banned from the ringside as they caused interference. The All-Mighty almost walked out of the ring but E grabbed him but was put down. The Champion then hit a Big Ending for a near fall, and Lashley hit back with an attempt to get out of the ring. Big E finally caught Lashley from the second rope, hitting a massive Big Ending, stood victorious, and retained his title.
After The Match: Former Champion Drew Mcintyre walked out to the stage and stared down at E, laying out a challenge to him as RAW went off the air.

 


Analysis: This show was an absolute Grade A+ with ‘Bearcat’ Lee rocking the bearded look and being a destroyer to a Brutal Steel Cage Match and the US Championship No Holds Barred Match as well. Tonight was about providing proper time to the RAW roster. Also, The Hurt Business Reunion was absolutely unexpected and huge. WWE has understood the seriousness of the competition and provided a great show with Extreme Action, probably even better than the Extreme Rules pay-per-view.

WWE Extreme Rules: All Championships Retained, Returning Superstar Squashed A Title Match

Extreme Rules pay per view aired live from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. As WWE is having some serious competition from a rival company, the management needs to make sure of it and provide some quality matches and segments which are engaging now. Although the Extreme Rules pay-per-view wasn’t bad, it wasn’t that great either. Almost all matches started off and went strong, but the major problem lay in the finishes of the two main Championship matches. 

Here Is A Recap Of All The Matches

In the Kick-off show, Liv Morgan picks a massive victory against Carmella and she is a gifted performer. We expect a single’s push and maybe some championship gold in the near future.

The Start of the show was a brilliant surprise with The New Day and The WWE Champion Big E clashing against Omos and AJ Styles and Former Champion Bobby Lashley. Lashley looks absolutely furious as he hasn’t forgotten E’s Cash-in and did some serious beatdowns too. But he did some serious mix-up as Styles was set for a Phenomenal Forearm but Lashley tagged himself in. Styles was unable to hit and The All-Mighty speared his own tag team partner. Big E hit the big ending and Picked a massive win. AJ and Big E should clash more as they have incredible chemistry against each other. The match was an incredible and a great start to the show.

The Smackdown Tag-Team Championship is on the line as The Usos take on The Street Profits. Montez Ford might have some setback with his injured ribs, courtesy to The Tribal Chief. The Usos primarily focused and took absolute advantage of Ford and his injury, and kept him away from Dawkins for a while, utilizing the advantage and playing some psychological mind games. Dawkins did get the tag and did some damage control and looked unbelievably amazing. The Profits performed some great spots like Dawkins with the top-rope superplex, twisting into a neckbreaker, and again Dawkins hoists up Jimmy Uso in his shoulders for a Doomsday Device, and Ford nailed the Uso with a neck breaker. But this wasn’t really enough. The crowd went all nuts with “This Is Awesome Chants”
The Usos knocked Dawkins outside the ring and then focused on Ford and his injured ribs, kicking it badly. They then hit a Double Uso Splash and picked up an impressive victory, having a Clean Win and an Extreme match. Tez Ford was the star of the match, selling the rib injury really well and performing crazy spots from the top of the turnbuckle.

Next in line was the RAW Women’s Championship Match with Champion Charlotte Flair steps in the ring against The Challenger Alexa Bliss. Probably this was Bliss’ best performance since her twisted turn. It was a short enough match for a championship on the line, merely 11 minutes. The match witnessed good spots and good to and fro action. The crowd loved the Sunset Flip Powerbomb which Bliss hit Flair. The match had good action and fewer psycho mind games. Charlotte caused a distraction by tossing the doll Lilly to Bliss, to which Flair hit a Big Boot and then a natural Selection for the Title Retain.
Although Charlotte wasn’t done after the match, she tore off Lilly. Bliss tried attacking but it wasn’t a success as Flair destroyed her outside the ring. Bliss cried for Lilly and looked vengefully towards Flair, and looks like we may have a rematch. Again. Ugh!  Although both of them showed off some incredible ring gear.

Further, in the show, we are about to experience some Triple Threat Action as The United States Championship will be defended. Champion Damian Priest takes on Jeff Hardy and Sheamus. In the beginning, Sheamus knocked Hardy out of the ring, and then Priest and Sheamus started to clash, taking the fight out of the ring. No Disqualifications. Whale they clash, hardy flies in outta nowhere and takes on Priest. Although Jeff looks struggling while performing moves, He’s a Champ. Pure Gold Athlete irrespective of his age, performing and taking sick bumps on the ring. There was a botched moment when Priest slipped off the apron to the floor while hitting his own 10 clubbing moves in the chest. Hardy then hir a dropkick to the chin to The Celtic Warrior. Hardy’s wins were so close and the fans even started to chant his name when he hit a Swanton Bomb to both of the opponents. He was and always has been the champ of the people. But Sheamus knocks out Hardy with a Brogue Kick and then Priest rolls him over and picks the win, retaining his title.
After the match, Hardy shook Priest’s hand and a massive show of respect was on display. 

It’s TIME! for the Smackdown Women’s Championship As Champion Becky Lynch takes on Challenger Bianca Belair, who put an excellent match on display. The Man received a great pop, but not bigger than The E.S.T. which led to a massive duel chant of “Let’s Go Becky” and “E.S.T. ”. Lynch rocked in white gear. Lynch tried to attempt a Man-handle Slam like the way she did in SummerSlam, but Belair didn’t let that happen. Both of them showed an incredible display of Power and submission attacks. Belair’s long braid was also involved as Lynch takes some advantage of it, also a tug of war initiated leading to an atomic drop by Belair. The counterattacks by the athletes were amazing and various jaw-dropping moves were performed. The rollups were constantly going on in the match with some fist fighting. Lynch got Belair in the Disarm Her, but The E.S.T. powers out and lifts The Man in the air for a K.O.D. but just at the moment, Sasha Banks returns and attacks both women which leads to a disqualification.
Our Expectations reached from heaven to hell in seconds with an unexpected yet bad ending.


It’s Main Event Action Time with the Universal Championship on the line as ‘The Tribal Chief’ Roman Reigns takes on ‘The Demon’ Finn Bálor in an Extreme Rules Match, where Anything Goes, but Pinfall or submission should be inside the ring. The crowd wanted some table-top action, and they gave a huge pop when Finn brought out one from the ring. The match was absolute carnage all around the arena. Huge Kendo Sticks, Tables, Crashing Barricades made this an extreme match to witness. Reigns did an unusual move while moving towards the crowd while he tossed The Demon, by wearing a mask. In a spot, Reigns hit a Superman Punch to Balor and countered a Shotgun Dropkick. Bálor then kicked out and hit a low blow to Reigns, a move that must’ve given him a flashback. The Usos made their presence when Bálor hit a Coup de Grace and interfered in the match. The Tag Champs then hit a Double Superkick to The Demon and started setting up a table, but Bálor fought back and slammed one of the Usos into the announcer’s table and at the very moment, we witnessed a sick spot as Reigns speared Finn through the barricades, making the crowd chant “Holy Shit.”
The Demon resurrection was quite poorly executed but Finn was all fired up! Just at the moment we thought this will be the match of the night and Bálor may be the New Champion while he went to the top rope to perform his finishing maneuver, the top rope just snapped. Bálor fell to the ground grasping his knee, and Reigns hit a massive spear and is still the Universal Champion. The finishing portion is arguably the worst, and our high heavenly hopes fell deep down once again.

Analysis: Each and every match was spectacular, proving that Extreme Rules was a great show but, the only problem was the ending of both the Championship Matches which was unbelievably awful. Leading to a DQ at the Smackdown Women’s Championship Match, people were expecting a fair match in the main event but this was another upset and looked like a cheap and disgraceful finish. Hopefully, we will see a proper explanation of what happened at the moment in the upcoming episode of Friday Night Smackdown.

WWE Smackdown September 24th, 2021: King Nakamura Retains IC Title, The Demon Goes EXTREME On The Bloodline

Note: This will be a basic recap and analysis. The in-depth recap of the show won’t be done for a while.

Friday Night Smackdown aired from the Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The man kicked off the show with a promo talking about celebrations, especially the one she crashed in the previous episode at Knox. Belair then interrupted and a brawl took place. Bianca gave the champion a taste of the K.O.D. and laid out The Man, leaving her to the ring 

Shinsuke Nakamura w/ Rick Boogs vs. Apollo Crews w/ Commander Azeez
Intercontinental Championship Match
While Azeez was staring at Nakamura, Rick Boogs lifted up the 7ft tall man and planted him with a back slam. This led to an opening to The King and he rolled up Crews for the cover and picked up the win. While Boogs and Nakamura celebrate, and Patt McAfee being the absolute gold color commentator.

Looks like Seth Rollins is not at all done with Edge. In a backstage segment, he threatened that he will hunt down The Rated R Superstar in his home and make him acknowledge that Rollins is better in every way and every aspect. It was later announced that Edge will be appearing on the upcoming episode of Smackdown and respond to Rollins

Zelina Vega vs. Liv Morgan
Although Liv was on fire from the beginning, a distraction by Carmella cost her the match and Zelina Vega picked up the quick win. Liv and Mella, who square off at Extreme rules can be a must-see match of the pay per view.

A new talk show segment “Happy Talk’ with Happy Corbin was aired but Kewin Owens didn’t seem impressed with him and tried to interrupt the show, but he was blindsided by Riddick Moss and looks like Moss has aligned with Corbin now.

Nikki A.S.H. vs Natalya
This was another small match where Tamina tried to interfere but failed and Ripley took care of her. Nikki then rolled up for the win. Later, Shotzi and Nox arrived in style in their tank and shot a ball through the tank’s toy missile launcher. Nikki and Rhea have some serious competition from a tag team who is undefeated since their debut.

Roman Reigns vs. Montez Ford
The Main Event is a surprising match as Montez looks like an unusual opponent for The Tribal Chief. Reigns looked intimidating and had a red glove instead of his usual golden one. Ford’s performance was unbelievably impressive for the main event match but Reigns always has the upper hand. He countered the Frog Splash From the heaven and turned it into a guillotine, making Montez Ford Tap Out. 

But it was not done and Heyman then called out The Usos, who laid out a table while Reigns assaulted Ford with a steel chair and then the table. But then, the lights went out and The Demon made his presence taking things EXTREME, attacking with a kendo stick and a steel chair to The Bloodline.

Overview: This episode was okay, but the Main Event was unbelievably amazing and top-notch. Ford absolutely delivered the match against The Head Of The Table, leading to the Extreme Rules pay-per-view against The Demon. As this is the final smackdown before an important pay-per-view, this could’ve been done better. Shotzi and Nox might be on the hunt for the Tag Team gold as they earned an opportunity a while back but it was never used.
Apart from 2 roll-ups and one insanely short match, the rest of the show looked fair. Smackdown Creative is doing great and can do even better as they have some serious competition against other wrestling companies.(wwe smackdown )

WWE RAW September 20th, 2021: The Bloodline Arrives on RAW, New Women’s Tag Team Champions Crowned

Monday Night Raw aired live from NC State, North Carolina. The event kicked off with WWE Champion Big E and The Reunited New Day’s championship celebration. In his promo, he thanked everyone below heaven, and the one dear friend in heaven: The Late Great Brodie Lee. The whole arena chanted ‘Brodie’.

While Big E addresses their business with The Bloodline, Roman Reigns and The Usos arrive at RAW for the first time since 2019 and marches down the ring, where they have a face-off. The show kicks off with

The New Day vs. The Bloodline
6-Man Tag Team Match
 The New Day vs. The Bloodline is a cross-branded match that delivered well. The Usos, Woods, and Kofi gave a great beating to each other. The real brawl started when Kofi tagged in Big E and Roman Reigns was in the ring, where they hit each other with clubbing blows and supreme counters. But Bobby Lashley crashes in outta nowhere and takes out Big E and Kofi. Xavier, who was in the ring gets the taste of a spear by Reigns, leading to the count of 3 for the victory.
After The Match: Lashley brutally attacks Roman Reigns in the ring with a spear, Hits another one to Big E crashing into the timekeeper’s area, and stays the last man standing. 

Backstage: Lashley crashes in Deville and Pearce’s office where he slams about Big E’s cash-in last week and said that he could beat both Reigns and Big E at the same time.

Doudrop vs. Eva Marie
Yet another rematch between these two in their latest chapter in their rivalry. Before the match, Eva took the mic and took a shot at Dourop’s physique. Eva then forced her to chase around her in the ring. When doudrop finally got her hands on the formal mentor, she annihilated Eva with a slam, senton, and then a big splash for the victory.

Randy Orton vs AJ Styles
We are witnessing a WrestleMania caliber match. Both Orton and Styles are smart performers in the ring and it is always a treat to watch them clashing against each other. The Apex Predator then played some trick and made it look like Omos tripped him, leading to the referee ejecting him from the ringside. The angry giant then laid out Riddle on his way back. Orton has the plus one on the ring but The Phenomenal One was attacking the knee which was injured during the commercial break. The Viper then faked Styles out during a phenomenal forearm attempt and dropped him with a DDT, and then an RKO for the pinfall victory. 

Shayna Baszler vs. Nia Jax
This match looked more like making Baszler going back to the previous form: A brutal competitor and cage fighter persona after months of okay to bad booking. It also featured some brutal spots by both performers but Shayna fought back and grabbed her with the Kirifuda Clutch, which led to referee stoppage for the win.
After The Match: Baszler absolutely destroyed Jax in a post-match assault and made it feel like she almost killed her. The crowd had an enhanced reaction and Baszler may have a huge push in the future, maybe a future women’s champion too.

Angel Garza & Humberto Carillo vs. Mustafa Ali & Mansoor
Real Life Cousins, Garza and Carillo are making their tag team debut in the name of family, clashing against Ali & Mansoor in tag-team action. This match was short, squashing, full of insane energy and high-flying techniques making it very enjoyable to watch. Despite Ali & Mansoor’s experience, Garza and Carillo dominated the match with Carillo grabbing a neck vice to Ali and Garza firing a dropkick to the face to score the pinfall victory.

Nikki A.S.H. & Rhea Ripley vs. Tamina & Natalya
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
Before the match began, Nikki and Rhea dedicated tonight’s championship match to the children who have been helped by Connor’s Cure on the occasion of Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month. Natty and Tamina started wise, knocking Ripley off the ring. Nikki A.S.H. was beaten and brutalized by the champs, but things turned when Tamina tried to attack Rhea but it backfired. Natalya was distracted when Ripley hoisted up Tamina for the Riptide to the unforgiving apron. Nikki then rolled up Natalya for the pin and we have NEW! Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Charlotte Flair Joins Alexa’s Playground
Flair asked for the Old Championship contender Bliss to come back. Bliss then asked what the queen really is without a championship to be relevant. After some shots had taken over originality, it led to a brawl. Flair ripped off the head of Charly, which allowed Bliss to recover and attack the champion, standing tall at the end of the segment.

Jeff Hardy vs. Sheamus
Veteran Hardy is back on the championship page as he takes on Sheamus with a special stipulation of if Hardy wins, he earns a spot at the US Championship opportunity at Extreme Rules. US Champ Damian Priest is at the commentary table. Sheamus showed some real aggression in the ring, but The Charismatic Enigma fought back and busted open The Celtic Warrior’s Nose, with blood spilling over his face and beard. Sheamus fought back but Jeff fought back smart with a Sunset Flip and picked up for the win, making the Extreme Rules match a Triple Threat.
After The Match: An Irate Sheamus blames Priest for his loss. A Clash happened and the referees had to pull them apart

Big E vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Roman Reigns
Triple Threat Match
It’s Main Event time with the Clash of the Titans. The 3 Powerhouses of WWE laid out an absolute WAR. This turned out like a pay-per-view caliber match with Lashley towing his momentum towards Big E as he is still furious over his title loss. The match showed both in and off the ring brutality with tossing to the barricades and amazing spots. In the final moments, Big E hit a spear to The Tribal Chief through the ropes and hit a big ending in the ring, but Lashley interfered with the chair and continuously blasted on Big E. Roman saw the opening and hit a Spear for the victory of the war. Reigns celebrated his victory as smackdown went off the air.


Author’s Analysis: This Week’s RAW was a great treat to watch. We can finally see Baszler regaining his old persona and a pay-per-view caliber main event which was monstrous. Raw is regaining the show quality again and hope this time they don’t lose the grip. The newly formed tag team was good, with Garza and Carillo getting some TV time and showing their in-ring skills. The show can still do better with some talents, and The Bloodline can help boost some TV ratings, something in which they are lacking behind. Jeff Hardy back in the championship scene is what fans really wanted for a long time. Overall, RAW had a great booking tonight for almost all matches.

Friday Night Smackdown aired live from the Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tennessee. The show kicked off with The Tribal Chief and The Bloodline made his presence, marking his 380th day as a champion. He has some serious competition on the line with Finn Bálor and Brock Lesnar on the line for a title match, as Reigns vs. Lesnar has been announced for Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. In the ring, Heyman cuts a promo on how Bálor and Lesnar are afraid of Roman Reigns. However, Big E makes his return, this time as a WWE Champion. The arena is filled with ‘You Deserve It’ chants. Finn Bálor also came out to the ring to confront the Universal Champion. The first match of the night was made official by Adam Pearce during the commercial break.

Big E & Finn Bálor vs. The Usos
A good back and forth battle with the WWE Champion and The Challenger for the Universal Championship against the Smackdown Tag Team Champions. A nail-biting match with good spots. Bálor and Big E picked up an amazing win with The Prince hitting his top rope finishing maneuver, Coup De Grace to Jey, and Big E with the Big Ending to Jimmy for the 3 count.

Rick Boogs vs. Robert Roode
Rick Boogs is great in the ring. Both Boogs and Roode are promising wrestlers with a lot to perform. The match, being a bit short but good to watch, where Boogs picks up the win after hitting a Boogs Cruise to Robert Roode. Appreciation to Patt McAfee for being pure gold on the commentary.
After The Match: During their Post-Match Celebration, Apollo Crews and Commander Azeez sneak attacked them brutally. Crews then demanded an Intercontinental Championship rematch

The match between Happy Corbin and Kevin Owens didn’t happen as Corbin launched a vicious attack from behind and choke slammed Owens on the Ring Apron.

The Visionary Seth Rollins enters the ring to address the WWE Universe. The crowd booed him constantly for what he did in the previous Smackdown. In case you missed it, Rollins hit a vicious Stomp to Edge’s surgically repaired neck, which the Rated R Superstar was trying to avoid. He was later sent to a hospital on a stretcher. Rollins accuses the WWE Universe for the condition of Edge as they constantly cheered for The Rated R Superstar and not The Visionary.
Further on the promo, Rollins Targeted Edge, saying he is not done yet. He said Either he would come to Edge’s home and take him down in front of his kids and family or he needs to come back and finish what started, once and for all.

Toni Storm & Liv Morgan vs. Zelina Vega & Camella 
The match which was supposed to happen at the previous Smackdown Show is happening. Liv Morgan apparently broke Carmella’s nose when Liv sent her into a turnbuckle face first, and Zelina Vega stepped down the ring to check on her This results in a countdown victory for Toni and Liv.
After The Match: Liv Morgan challenges Carmella at the Extreme Rules pay per view where she promised to make her look as hideous on the outside as she was on the inside. Carmella accepts when she is checked backstage. It’s ON at Extreme Rules!

Sami Zayn vs. Dominik Mysterio
In Spite of Dominik asking his dad to stay backstage, Father Rey joined the Smackdown Commentary Table. Dominik puts up a good match, puts a tough effort on the match. Zayn countered with his knees up when Junior Mysterio hit a Frog Splash, rolled up Dominik for his 3rd win against him in a row.

The Mayor of Knoxville and WWE Hall of Famer Kane arrives at the ring for the Homecoming Celebration of Bianca Belair.

The EST was all praise for the Knox County, says Knoxville made him The EST and also says she will take her Women’s Championship back. Mayor Kane presents Bianca with the Key of the County. The Smackdown Women’s Champion then arrives at the party, to shake up hands with the Homecoming queen. When Bianca refuses to let go, The Man fights back. Belair hoists up for a K.O.D. but The Man counters with a Man-Handle Slam to lay out The EST while Smackdown goes off the air. 

Author’s Opinion: Smackdown has always been in their A-Game and proves to be the best show of WWE. The September 17th show builds up the upcoming pay-per-view really well, creating an amazing hype for Extreme Rules. The WWE has done very well since they are back on the road, providing high-profile matches and can keep surprises really well, unlike other companies whose staff reveals spoilers which causes the hype to lose. Overall, Tonight was a Good to watch show with amazing promo segments.
