Bhubaneswar: With a dwindling wide variety of scholarship programs in Odisha, the state’s better education branch asks colleges & universities to expedite the method.
Raising the problem over the poor number of scholarship applications filed by using college students within the cutting-edge academic 12 months, the Odisha higher education department has requested all faculties and universities to take immediate steps to expedite the validation system of the net packages for scholarships.
In a letter to all principals of schools and registrars of universities, Prativa Sahu, joint secretary to authorities stated, “from the web database of country scholarship portal it’s far determined that a very few numbers of online programs pertaining to e-Medhabruti scholarship, Vyasakabi fakir Mohan Bhasabruti, and Gopabandhu Sikshya Sahayata Yojana have been demonstrated until date, that’s accounted as very negative.” as in step with Sahu, the department noticed that the university authorities are insisting on submission of a physical replica of on-line programs along with other documents on the time of online validation and not validating the net programs due to non-submission of the same.“after the advent of state scholarship portal from this 12 months, 2020-21, all the relevant documents are uploaded within the online application and there may be no necessity of submission of the bodily shape of software on the university stage,” the letter examine.
Sahu requested them to take immediately important steps to expedite the validation manner basing on the net documents and the records available with the college and whole the method of validation within the stipulated duration. The closing date of validation has been prolonged up to august 31, 2021 for completion of online validation. No additional extension will be made.
