Bishweswar Tudu, Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs, was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi on Wednesday for treatment of post-Covid problems, according to a source.
Tudu was suffering from acute discomfort in the bones surrounding his eyes and teeth, according to a specialist at AIIMS who was treating him.
Meanwhile, at AIIMS, a team of doctors has been conducting various pathological tests on Tudu and treating him as needed.
Naveen Patnaik, the Chief Minister, wished Tudu a speedy recovery on Thursday. ‘I learned that Union Minister Bishweswar Tudu is presently being treated at AIIMS-New Delhi, after Covid-19 related issues,’ Patnaik said in Odia on his personal Twitter account. I wish him health and a speedy recovery.’

Tudu is a native of Mayurbhanj district’s Khuntapal hamlet. Along with Rajya Sabha MP Ashwini Vaishnaw, the 56-year-old legislator was one of two Odisha MPs named to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s new team of ministers on July 7, 2021.
