Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday a package for street vendors who suffered due to shutdowns/lockdown posed by the state to contain the havoc caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
As per the statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), Patnaik announced a relief package ofRs 26.29 crores for the livelihood support of the street vendors whose business took a hit during the second wave of Covid.
The financial assistance will be provided by the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. “As many as 87, 657 street vendors will be benefited from the special package,” the statement read.
