The Odisha government is also not leaving any stone unturned to combat the eventualities arising out of the new COVID variant.

India has been very behind in terms of women’s growth, safety, education etc. Despite having 75 years of independence, we yet to see the growth of women. There are a lot of notions and stereotypes existing about women. According to MK Gandhi’s definition of Independence “The day a woman can walk freely on the roads at night, that day we can say that India has achieved independence.’’ Even safety of a woman is one of the key factors of the Nation’s growth and according to the data the women security in India is terrible and outrageous.
Among all of these women have managed to get over that disparity and paved the path for themselves, but still they need support, ample amount of opportunity as much as men are getting in our society. There is a lady DJ, Kshirabdhi Tanaya aka DJ KT from a small village in Jajpur district, who has become a torchbearer for many. Here, RTD Journal has brought you an inspiring story of this icon that needs to be Buzzed.
Q .1 From Kshirabdhi Tanaya to DJ KT how was your journey?
The journey was not easier I would say it was a roller coaster ride. Becoming a DJ was not my aim at all. I would have never imagined myself as a DJ. This happened only because it was destined. Basically, I was working in Bangalore based software Company. One day I went to a Club to hang out with my friends. There was a friend of mine who was working as a DJ over there. He suggested me to become a DJ as I had very good sense of music, then things are automatically fallen into their places and I became a DJ.
Q.2 Why did you choose DJ as a profession? Because coming from a typical Odia family. It’s pretty hard to accept that you have perused this as your career.
Like I said I had no idea about what a DJ is all about. It was in my luck so I became a DJ. As you know our society is very much conservative, especially when it comes to girls or women. Girls are not allowed to live their life freely. The situation happened the same with me, although I was not discouraged but never get encouraged as well. Even my father did not know much about my profession when I started off.
Q.3 What is the toughest phase during DJ as profession that you will be never forget forever?
My first friend, my sister was my ‘Jaan’ she was my everything. I laughed with her, I cried with her, she was the best part of my life. When she passed on, I went through a lot. I had to go to perform after completing her cremation because I was supposed to do my job, my duty, as my audience were waiting for me to play the music. Successfully I managed to pretend in front of my audience. That was my life’s toughest period and I can never forget that day.
Q.4 People often think DJ is male domain and there is no much scope for a DJ in Odisha?
I don’t believe in this concept. I always feel there is no specific category in work. One can do whatever he or she wants to. As far as scopes are concerned one has to make the place by his or her hard work and dedication. If you look at my journey, then I made my place for myself and I took DJ in Odisha certain level and even now Odisha is getting urbanized, new Clubs are opening up in every city so I would say now there is a lot of scope in this field.
Q.5 What will be your message to them who are wanting to pursue DJ as a career?
To become a DJ the first and foremost thing is you need to be courageous and strong because you will get judged a lot by your profession. DJ as a profession is never appreciated by our society, there are many misconceptions. For me it worked as a blessing in disguise. If you really want to make your career in this regard then you are welcome, don’t think, just do it because a lot of opportunities are waiting for you.

The QUAD Group is an informal strategic dialogue with four members, namely, India, Japan, Australia, and the US. The shared objective is to ensure and sustain an open, free, and prosperous Indo-Pacific region. The QUAD Group is maintained by semi-regular summits, meetings, information exchanges, and military drills of all the members. It is seen as a coalition of maritime democracies. The idea for the QUAD Group is attributed to former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe who mooted it in 2007. However, its origins can be traced back to the 2004 Tsunami when India conducted relief and rescue operations for itself and neighboring countries and was joined by Japan, the US, and Australia. The move was paralleled by the joint military exercise ‘Malabar’ which was held at an unprecedented scale involving India, Japan, Australia, Singapore, and the US.
China issued formal diplomatic protests to the members of the QUAD. Then, Australia backed out from the QUAD presumably due to pressure from the Chinese. Again in 2012, Abe brought forth the idea of Asia’s “Democratic Security Diamond” comprising Japan, India, the US, and Australia to protect the maritime commons from the Indian Ocean to the Western Pacific. It was in 2017, however, that the first official talks under the QUAD took place, in Manila, the Philippines.
The idea behind the QUAD Group is to keep the strategic and significant sea routes in the Indo-Pacific free of any influence (read Chinese influence). It is seen as a strategic grouping to preempt and reduce Chinese influences. The core objectives of the QUAD are to secure a rules-based global order, a liberal trading system, and freedom of navigation. It seeks to contain a ‘rising China’ and work against its predatory trade and economic policies. Another purpose of the QUAD is to offer alternative debt financing for nations in the Indo-Pacific region.
In 2020, the trilateral India-US-Japan Malabar naval exercises expanded to include Australia, marking the first official grouping of the Quad since its resurgence in 2017 and the first joint military exercises among the four countries in over a decade. In March 2021, the Quad leaders met virtually and later released a joint statement titled ‘The Spirit of the Quad,’ which outlined the group’s approach and objectives.

Little Things Review: Kavya-Dhruv, A Perfectly Imperfect Couple
It’s Not for us to say
What will be
And at the end of the day
We’ll see
which way the whole thing bends
And what it could bring
‘coz nothing really matters
‘cept the little things
We all need some reassurance from time to time. That’s what little things leaves us with.
A lot of us were strongly adverted to relationships but when kavya said “no matter what, this stays” we were introduced to the contentment of love. They taught us to be there and help each other grow. When we saw them laughing together, we couldn’t stop ourselves from believing in love.
You both were a perfectly imperfect couple. You loved each other every day and that’s what made you special. We fell in love multiple numbers of time. Might it be when Dhruv sent biriyani along with a note for his “biriyani monster’’ for spoiling her dress or when Kavya ordered mutton chop for Dhruv from his favourite store to make things right. Might it be when Dhruv booked tickets for Kavya when her dog died or when Kavya stood with him while he pursued his dream all the way in Bangalore.
The way you took trips to explore yourselves as individuals showed us how important it is to take a break from life and that finding happiness beyond your partner isn’t falling out of love. The way you understood each other made us crave for companionship. And the way you celebrated each other’s success, asked us to never settle for less. Your journey was extraordinary and we felt it.
Your story wasn’t a fairy tale. It was not in any way a smooth or easy ride. You were working, learning and growing through the bumpy ride together. You adapted to everything that came your way to keep your relationship strong. You could face every insecurity and uncertainty head on. You were ordinary but your friendship made you special, making life all about the little things made you special. But you both together made us feel complete.
Six songs that will make you love his voice even more
With the passing of time the poet, dialogue-writer and script-writer has shown us that words hold the power to heal. Music being simply an absolute soothing treat to the ears and to the soul. Lyrics of these songs beautifully describe the comfort and pain one can experience in love, friendship and in life.
Late Kishore Kumar is a gem to the music industry. His voice will take you to a place from where you won’t feel like coming back. It is so calm that it will win over your heart every time. If we start listing his songs then it will be never ending. So, here are six songs that will make you love his voice even more. If you are pressing the play button then be ready to not be able to stop listening.

Gaata rahe mera dil
This song is from “Guide” (1965), which was a musical extravaganza, belongs to the category of “how come this song was not discussed before”. The lyrics of this song are with me for a long time. It was sung by Kishore Kumar and was a complete hit. It is an evergreen song which will always be close to heart. It shows how love is above jealousy, distance and fear. And how it never ends. It is the destination where heart wants to go. It tells you to hold on to it and to never change while the whole world is changing. It shows how people who are in love never wants the day to pass and how the heart keeps singing always. It will always be a classic.
Tere bina zindagi se
‘Tere Bina Zindagi Se koi Shikwa To Nahi’ is an old song from the film album of Aandhi. It was written by Gulzar Sahab and composed by the music genius late R.D. Burman. The lyrics are heartening, romantic and carry a touch of philosophy, as Gulzar sahab’s lyrics often carry. This song makes you to realize that life is all about sharing; otherwise, it’s just existence! It makes your heart go fonder. It brings the delicacy of a butterfly to our life. It is also a proud acceptance of the fact that life is just love and love all the way. Differences turn out to be meaningless. It is a gem in every sense of the word. It still holds the values with the listeners. Through this song they’ve created an emotion; the one that listeners have been feeling for decades!
Mera jeevan kora kagaz
This Hindi song is sung by Kishore Kumar for the Bollywood movie Kora Kagaz (1974). Kalyanji-Anandji were the composer of the music. It is the title song as well as the theme song of the movie. It tells us about life and how it is just a blank paper. How happiness never remained and how everything got washed away by tears of sadness. It also says that how a flying bird has a home but not a broken person and people have no idea how to deal with it. it shows you the reality of life and how every person gets hurt and learn to bear the pain. This song brings back lots of memories and will always remain all-time hit. Everyone who will hear this can definitely relate to this wonderful yet soothing song.
Zindagi ek safar hai suhana
“Zindagi Ek Safar Hai“ is a song from the Hindi film Andaz which was composed by the duo of Shankar Jaikishan. This is one of the best song one can witness. It shows life in a wonderful way and how no one knows what will happen in the future. So, it is just a beautiful journey. It’s shows life’s reality. How one day death will come and our soul will leave us. But that shouldn’t stop you from enjoying it. We have to go beyond the skies and the moon. We should love unconditionally. And how we should pass every stage of our life wonderfully. This song’s music will definitely make you dance.
Tere jaisa yaar kahan
This song is from the superhit movie ‘yaarana’ and was sung by Kishore Kumar. This song is all about friendship and how special friends are. It tells you about how friends are there for you in sorrows as well as in happiness. How they make your life better just by being there for you. How the embrace us and make things just right. The world needs to remember these friendships. Friends who did everything they could, who never left you and stayed there till death. This song is a request to the friend to not leave us even for a day. This song will forever remain a masterpiece.
According to reports, Facebook-owned WhatsApp would allow users to hide their online status from anyone who cannot be trusted.
According to Android Police, new privacy capabilities are being developed to provide control over who may view certain portions of a user’s profile, as discovered by WABetaInfo.
At the moment, “Last Seen,” “Profile Picture,” and “About” can be viewed by everyone, contacts, or no one at all. According to the article, there are no customizable choices.
Those restrictions will be eliminated shortly, since WhatsApp is presently testing the option to block particular contacts from seeing your status, according to the company.
With this feature, users will be able to conceal their “Last Seen” time from a select group of individuals without completely removing it.
This option will also enable profile photographs and biographies, giving you far more control over your privacy than was previously available.
Disabling “Last Seen” will continue to be a two-way street; if a user conceals it from a group of individuals in their contact list, WhatsApp will hide their information in return.
Although the functionality has been discovered on iOS, it is expected to go out to all handsets once it is complete.
Previously, the popular messaging app said that it is working on see once messages, which would disappear after just being viewed once.

“So no one told you that life’s gonna be this way”, who didn’t hymned this song right?
From teenagers to adults this song, this series holds a special place in everyone’s heart for sure. So as a typical F.R.I.E.N.D.S fan we are here for you to tell why we love this and if you can relate, we are on the same team mate.
Story of friendship:
We all hearted how these six people, being so different from each other became friends and shared a bond which we crave. This series gave us some serious friendship goals to dream about.
“Can this be more funny?”:
Feeling upset or frustrated? ” F.R.I.E.N.D.S” has your back always. You cannot hold your laughter for too long if you are watching it. From Chandler Bing’s sarcastic lines to Ross Gellar’s obsession over dinosaurs your mood will cheer up soon once you are into it.
Perfect Relation-SHIPS to drool for:
If you are F.R.I.E.N.D.S fan one of the utmost reason watching it in repeat mode is we absolutely love the relationship- chemistry the pairs have in the show. From MONDLER TO ROSCHEL even joey with his triple cheese pizza makes us drool over. Also remember the time Monica proposed to chandler * cries in corner
Perfect-O-cast:
I don’t know whether the story is written visualizing the cast members or it’s just a mere coincidence but no one can fit in these characters better than these six people. From Mr. Bing’s iconic comic timing to Rachel green’s oh so bratsy brat moments and how can we forget Pheobe’s weird yet perfect comebacks, this series has it all.
“OH MY FASHION!”:
Who didn’t drool over Rachel’s that famous 90’s haircut or her wardrobe or Monica’s formal yet classy suits. Few of us must have searched in pinterest where to get those dreamy outfits * count me in. We absolutely love-love each character’s dressing style and carrying it with ‘oh so glamorous’ mode.
JOEY alert:
How can we ignore the fact that Matt De Blanc is one of our favorite character as Joey?
We all have our part of joey when it comes to love for food. From “how you doinn” to “Joey doesn’t share food” this person has successfully won over our hearts each time he smiled
Also we cannot help but mention Chandler’s dance has its OSCARY moment to laugh over.
Lessons to remember:
While this show made us laugh it also has few lessons to teach. Being a 90’s show few things were considered as taboo in those times like multiple divorce, breaking a marriage off, surrogacy, single motherhood even adoption while this series showed it all breaking the general so called stereotypes.
6 people – Story of life a lifetime:
F.R.I.E.N.D.S is one of those shows which will make you laugh – cry- crush over and even question why you are there. A story of 6 friends who became family and their bond will make you relate to your friends. Maybe- maybe not we all have that one Monica in our life who loves to clean and cook and gives their shoulder when we need it the most, Phoebe with whom we can do the weird stuffs, friendship like Chandler and Joey who gave us the reason to believe in boy friendships. This series is technically everything we want to have and we want to see.
It can be a 5 page article and still not be enough why we love this gem show but all we know is we cannot be bored of watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S ever.
*opens Netflix to watch it again.
