Cricket is the most played sport in the country and most played by men, over the years. Have you ever wondered about women? Indian cricketer women pulling up their socks made the nation proud of their good performance. It all started in the early 1970s when a few enthusiastic women took up cricket. Some of the most important activities of cricket took place as the first women in the women’s race held in Pune with three participating teams, namely, Bombay, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh, followed by the Rani Jhansi Trophy held in Kanpur in 1974. Gradually the 2010s were a time of great campaign for women’s cricket. The fan base of women’s cricket has grown significantly over the years.

1. Shafali Verma: She first appeared worldwide at the age of 15, and is the youngest Indian woman to play T20I cricket and the youngest Indian sex to make a century. He quickly climbed to the top of the T20I list during the 2020 T20 World Cup, his first tournament in the world, and finished as India’s top scorer, with the highest strike of all teams. In 2019, at the age of 15, she became the youngest cricketer to play for India’s Women Twenty20 International.
