SRH vs RR: Sunrisers Gain Much Needed Momentum, Victorious Against Royals By 7 Wickets

Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals squared off against each other at the Dubai International Stadium. This bout is probably going to be a thrilling match. Rajasthan won the toss and opted to bat, which looks like a good enough decision. Skipper Sanju Samson was smashing runs scored a half-century in style and took the run-chase forward alongside Jaiswal and Lomror, taking the score to 164. Sunrisers, who have an exceptional bowling line-up didn’t disappoint this time as they bagged 5 important wickets and also did limited the opponent team in what looks like a chaseable target.

Sunrisers’ batting performance has substantially increased and has gained some much-needed momentum as Jason Roy opened alongside Saha and delivered really well, scoring 60 runs. This was Roy’s first-ever match in this season. Although RR bowlers Mustafizur and Sakariya picked a wicket each, they couldn’t capitalize well as they conceded many runs in the power play itself. Skipper Kane Williamson alongside Abhishek Sharma, who gave some much-needed support provided a good partnership leading to a win and a half-century for the Skipper as well. The batting was the star of the match which gave them a great win over Royals by 7 wickets. This is their 2nd win in the last 10 matches, as said by commentators. Although it’s next to impossible to position themselves in the playoffs, they can jump over a few teams in the points table with a few wins in the future.
