Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad squared off at Sharjah Cricket Stadium and this match looks in the favor of The Kings. As Sunrisers won the toss and chose to field, they gave us a pure display of quality bowling and decent fielding. Jason Holder bagged the two opening wickets and weakened the team. Even the Universal Boss was sent back to the pavilion, courtesy of Rashid Khan. Punjab Kings scored an easy run-chase of 125 with the loss of 7 wickets.
Since the beginning of the 2nd innings, fate is not with the Sunrisers as opening batsmen David Warner was knocked out in the first over, even Skipper Williamson couldn’t have a proper opening and departed to the pavilion. Punjab Kings’ bowling crippled the batting line, and many more batsmen departed soon after. Wriddhiman Saha was holding the line for the team but unfortunately, he got run out. Jason Holder tried to score the target, hitting 5 massive sixes and gave us some hope, but it was too late to do damage control and Punjab picks a win by 5 runs. While Punjab’s position has improved, SRH is now at the lowest in the points table.
Jason Holder is chosen as The Man Of The Match
