Renowned Ollywood Singer Tapu Mishra Succumbs To COVID-19

Tapu Mishra, a renowned Ollywood playback singer, died on Saturday as a result of Covid-19. She passed away in a private hospital in the capital city while seeking treatment.

Tapu was quarantined at home after testing positive for the deadly virus. She was recently sent to a private hospital for treatment as her condition worsened.

After showing no indications of improvement, the singer was carried into another COVID facility and placed on ventilator support. Her oxygen level, however, rapidly declined, and she died today as a result of cardiac arrest.

It’s worth noting that her father died on May 10th as a result of COVID-related complications.

Meanwhile, following Tapu’s unexpected death from coronavirus, a shadow of doom descended on the Odia film industry.

Condolences for the departed musician flooded in from all walks of life. Tapu Mishra has performed in a number of Odia films and bhajans. She also used to put out her own album songs.
