The Royal Challengers and Super Kings always deliver a highly anticipated match, where Super Kings won the toss and chose to field. RCB starts with a bang with their extremely good batting form by the opening batsmen. Skipper Kohli hit 53 runs with 6 fours and a six, and Devdutt Padikkal scored 70 runs including 5 fours and 3 monstrous sixes. CSK bowlers looked like they were struggling to take wickets but they found an opening in the 13th over, taking 6 wickets and limiting the score to 156. 

The 2nd innings started well, with opening batsmen Ruturaj Gaikwad alongside Faf du Plessis chasing a partnership of 71 runs. Moeen Ali also hit 2 massive sixes but departed soon after. RCB’s Harshal Patel bagged 2 important wickets. Raina and Dhoni took care of the death overs and scored a classic victory over RCB by 6 wickets and climbed back to the top of the points table with a better net run rate.
