Raju Srivastava, a well-known comedian, has returned to the TV with his solo show ‘Hanste Raho With Raju Srivastava.’
“Today, the desire for laughing is greater than ever. We have jobless Indians seeking for a cause to laugh and coronavirus patients looking for a reason to laugh. “The best medicine is laughter,” Raju said.
When asked about the transition of comedy programmes from television to online, he stated, “We all have to move with time, evolution is the rule of nature.” The increase is still small, but it must be spectacular to claim that humour has reached OTT; we have done films and television, and we will not leave OTT.”
He said, “We still have folks who are dissatisfied with life, and the ones who make us laugh are few and far between.” It takes a lot of effort to make a population of 135 crore laugh.”
Raju Srivastava, who has been performing for 40 years, is making a comeback with a solo performance. Surinder, Ashok Mishra, Dipoo Srivastava, and Abhinandan from TV will also be on the show. The series will be topic as well as funny.
The show ‘Hanste Raho With Raju Srivastava’ was premiered by Vikas Productions at a ceremony hosted by IMPPA President TP Aggarwal and Rahul Aggarwal.
“When the producers Sarla and Rahul approached me about this project, I said yes right away. I’ve been working on this series for a long time, and I believe this is the perfect moment for people to laugh and let go of their stress,” Raju said.
“We have all grown up watching Raju Srivastava, who is a phenomenal comic and artist. “We felt it would be fantastic to have him back on film so that the new generations could watch and enjoy him,” producer Rahul Aggarwal said.
The show will be available on either GEC or an OTT platform.
