The Indian television actor, Karanvir Bohra recently reacted to a video in which he has been labelled as “gareeb (poor)” for driving a Maruti Suzuki Ciaz to late actor Sidharth Shukla’s house in order to pay his respects along with his wife.
He lashed out on the media person for his heartless comment, “Ciaz gadi mein aye hai, gareeb lag rahe hai!’, while waiting below Sidhart’s apartment for their car and took that particular video to Instagram where he wrote ”So sad, are we here to make 5-star appearances? We came to meet a mother who just lost her son. And this is what certain press people notice during such a grieving time? This is exactly what gives press people a bad name.” He also spoke to a few police officials before leaving Sidharth’s place.
Prior to this Karanvir Bohra had also written: “This is devastating. I’m beyond shocked. How can this happen? What kind of joke is God is playing with us. Sending prayers to his family. May God give them strength to bear this loss.”, while paying his emotional tribute to the late actor Karanvir Shukla who passed away on 2nd September at the age of 40 in Cooper hospital.
For this matter people took over the comment section and criticized the reporter for being so inconsiderate and facile.
It’s high time for the media to understand that when people, weather celebrities or not, are grieving the loss of a loved one, should be left alone and should be given a break from all the unnecessary judgements. People also needs to understand that the celebrities can also have a simple lifestyle and not get tagged as unsuccessful.
