Jatin Das to paint for welfare of Hockey

Jatin Das a renowned experienced contemporary Indian Painter and Sculptor needs no introduction in art fraternity and his marvellous arts have been showcased and exhibitted internationally. The padmabhushan awardee is counted among one the creative artists of India and his creativeness has made him interested to present a large painting of a hockey player on canvas. He was deeply touched by a story appeared on news paper over the emergence of a great hockey player from Odisha who was such engulfed by adversities that his family do not even have access to electricity.

The great artist has made his mind to posture a painting of a hockey player and there by putting the painting to auction only for the welfare of hockey in Odisha. The painting is going to be exhibited at the Gita Govinda Bhawan on 18th January 2023 at 9.30 AM.

The ongoing hockey mania in Odisha would certainly touch new heights with the introduction of such world class painting by a world class painter.
