In the ongoing fight against COVID-19, oxygen concentrators have been sent to people’s homes in at least five cities across the state, including Bhubaneswar.
Today, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched a new effort to provide oxygen concentrators to Covid patients’ homes.
“Glad to launch doorstep delivery of oxygen concentrators in Bhubaneswar, Berhampur, Cuttack, Rourkela & Sambalpur. It will give huge respite to people who are looking for oxygen concentrators and strengthen our preparedness against current & future waves of #COVID19,” Pattnaik tweeted.

The State government also reported that they have provided the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation with 100 oxygen concentrators as part of the service (BMC).
Sanjay Singh, the newly appointed BMC Commissioner, said on Saturday that the service would begin in the Capital City on Monday (June 7).
“The BMC has received 100 oxygen concentrators from the Odisha government. We’ve also created an app for Covid-infected people who are being treated at home. They may reserve oxygen concentrators using the application, and the BMC will deliver them to their houses. “The service will go live on Monday,” Singh said.
