Sundergarh: A CRPF (imperative reserve police pressure) jawan has been arrested for allegedly raping a lady forest shield in Bonai place of Sundargarh district of Odisha.
The accused jawan has been identified as Kalinga Gourav Parida of Jajpur. He is currently posted in Ladakh. Reportedly, he had come to his village on depart and visited a relative at Bonai in which he allegedly raped the woman wooded area shield and looted coins, gold adorns from her.
Thereafter, the guard lodged a grievance with Bonai police station and narrated the torture she had to face.
Based on the complaint the cops launched an investigation into the case and nabbed the accused from Sarankul place in Nayagarh district. The arrested jawan who has been identified as Kalinga Gourav Parida of Jajpur, was sent to prison after the courtroom rejected his bail.
