BMW Electric Scooter CE 04 Debuts With 130 Kms Range, 120 Kmph Top Speed BMW wraps off its new electric two-wheeler on Wednesday. This two-wheeler is specifically designed to run in urban areas. This e-scooter is going to bring a new chapter to the electric scooter. Work is currently underway on the BMW CE 04. In 2017, CE4 was introduced as the Motored Concept Link, and later as the Motored Definition of 2020. "In the future, all BMW models will be fully electric," said Oliver Gipsy. The e-scooter has an average output of 31 kW (42hp), with a top speed of 120 km / h. According to the company, it takes just 2.6 seconds for the BMW CE to reach speeds of 0 to 50 km / h. It has a 60.6Ah (8.9 kWh) battery that can go up to 130 km. The lithium-ion battery used in it takes four to four and a half hours to fully charge. It can be reduced to 1 hour and 40 minutes by Quick Charger. The scooter has a 10.24 '' TFT display. There are also maps and charging ports. Available in three variants, ECO, RAIN and ROAD, CE 04. It is expected to start at Rs 8 lakhs. There’s no word on if BMW Motorrad plans to bring the CE 04 to India, but don’t be surprised to see it being introduced here in the time to come, as the CE 04 will serve as a halo product providing potential customers a taste of what future electric BMW bikes will be like.
